My #1 choice for booking business class tickets for my family is Air France.
I love their hard product (the seats, the comfort), the soft product (the stewards) and the food (cheese & champs!).

But the reason they are my #1 is the amount of business class award seats they release.
Many airlines will only release 2 business class award seats per flight. Making it impossible for a family to book.
For Air France, I’ve seen as many as 8 award seats available.
Transfer Partners
One thing that makes these flights so easy to book is they have wonderful transfer partners: Chase, Capital One, American Express, Citi Thank You

Transferring Points
Flying Blue is the name of Air France & KLMs frequent flyer program. So, to book a ticket with either Air France or KLM, you’ll first need to create a Flying Blue account. Then you’ll transfer points to Flying Blue. Before making a huge points transfer between your credit card and an airline, I recommend calling the airline first and confirming the award space. Even though you see it online, sometimes there can be errors and double checking can save you from making a transfer when a flight really isn’t available.
Family Friendly
Air France gives children 2 – 11 years a 25% discount on their all award travel tickets (including business, premium economy and economy).

Flying Blue Promos
Every month, Flying Blue releases a set of award promos. Most of the promos are in economy. However, sometimes you can find a great deal in business. Our family flew Miami – London last summer on a promo, where our tickets were 39,750 points per person {when booking a promo ticket, the child discount does not apply).
Trick to Searching for Award Seats
You’ll need to login to Air France to look for award travel. When you input your search information, leave the date blank. This will then allow the calendar to pull up entire months of dates, so you can find the best deal.
