I’m not sure more than a week goes by without an Amazon package being delivered to our house.
Because we are consistently spending money at Amazon, it’s important for me to get 5x points on every purchase.
The Ink Business Cash® Credit Card gets 5x points for every $1 at office supply stores (on the first $25K spent per anniversary year for office supply stores, internet, phone, & cable services combined).
What does that have to do with Amazon?
Office supply stores sell Amazon gift cards.
The best part about Amazon gift cards is you simply load them onto your Amazon account and then the credit is there when you need it. No worrying about managing an actual gift card.
It’s super easy to add your Amazon gift card to your Amazon Account.
1. Login to your account
2. Go to top right of page where it says “accounts & lists” and then click on “account”
3. Click “gift cards” (2nd row, 2nd one down)
3. Click “redeem a gift card”
4. Enter the claim code on the back of your Amazon gift card & click apply to balance
5. Now when you go to check out, your’ll select the gift card balance for your payment.
The Ink Business Cash® Credit Card is one of my favorite cards because it has $0 annual fee & HUGE earning potential! And Chase Ultimate Rewards® Points are one of the most valuable you can earn because they are so flexible.
If you are worried that you don’t qualify for a business card, the truth is, you probably do.
I have qualified for business cards just based on selling my son’s old clothes/toys on Facebook marketplace.
But there are so many other “side hustles” that qualify too. You don’t have to sell thousands a year or even have any employees! And believe me, business credit cards are a HUGE part to your travel hacking strategy. It’s important to fill out the application correctly, and you can find those details here.
** To be able to transfer these points to travel transfer partners (like Hyatt, United, etc) you’ll need to have a card that enables you to transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards® Points to transfer partners. I highly recommend the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card.
