Thatā€™s why I am super strategic about how I pay for these vacations! Letā€™s say you are spending $2,000 on a Disney Park vacation or a Disney Cruise vacation, booked with Disney. And you earned 5 ā€“ 6x points per dollar on that vacation. Those points earned would be enough for 2 nights at a Hyatt, category 1 hotel. šŸ‘‰šŸ¼ Comment Disney And Iā€™ll send you all the details!
Can you imagine paying $1800 a night for a hotel r Can you imagine paying $1800 a night for a hotel room? Nope! Me either! I have a fancy hotel addiction. And this stay at the Park Hyatt New York was super swanky! But luckily, I also know how to stay at luxury hotels for $0. The absolute, 100% key is earning flexible credit card points. And it is SO easy to do this if you just do this one thingā€¦ āž”ļø Let me give show you a small example. I was speaking with a good friend recently. She was asking about how to get free stays using credit card points. BUT then she told me, they put ALL of their spend on ONE cardā€¦ and itā€™s an airline card! šŸ˜³ And the thing isā€¦ she isnā€™t alone! Iā€™ve had at least 5 friends tell me this! And they are putting SIGNIFICANT spend on this card. The issue here is, if you are putting everything on an airline cardā€¦ HOW do you use that for hotel stays? YOU DONā€™T. So, hereā€™s a better wayā€¦ if you are just starting to use credit card points, and donā€™t want to juggle a million cards, the BEST thing you can do is use a card that has flexible/transferable points. My favorite card I always have in my wallet earns points I can transfer to Hyatt OR Southwest OR United Orā€¦ many more. So instead of getting locked into 1 program. I have the choice of where and how to use my points when booking travel. That $1800/night hotel stay? Yep, I transferred points to Hyatt to book it. For TWO nights! What a dream! Capital One has done it again! Their lounge at the Capital One has done it again! Their lounge at the Denver airport is absolutely stunning. But even better, it easily saved my family $150+ with just ONE visit! āœˆļøShare this with friends who love travel deals! Capital One now has their own branded airport lounges in Denver (DEN), Dallas (DFW) and Washington, DC (IAD). My family and I visited the Denver one last week and were wowed by the thoughtfully designed space and all of the amenities provided. Full bar, large dinner and sweets option, flavored sodas, comfortable seating with plenty of charging stations. One of the best and most surprising benefit of this lounge is the grab and go section. Filled will sandwiches, salads, snack mixes and sparkling water. They even give you a cute little Capital One bag to put it all in. This is a GAME CHANGER for families about to board a long flight! How did we have access to this lounge? We have the Capital One Venture X card. This card allows you PLUS 2 guests access to their lounges. If you donā€™t live in one of the cities with its own Capital One lounge, the Venture X card also gives you access to Priority Pass lounges and the Plaza Premium lounge network. And want to know the BEST way to get your entire family into these lounges? If you have the Capital One Venture X card, you can add up to four authorized users for FREE!! So you would add your spouse as an authorized user, then they get access + 2 guests. Now, between the 2 of you, you have access for 6 to the lounge while only paying 1 annual credit card fee! ā­ļøā­ļøComment LOUNGEā­ļøā­ļø And Iā€™ll send you a link to search Capital Oneā€™s partner lounge network to see if thereā€™s one at your airport. Iā€™ll also send you a direct link to the Venture X card so you can apply & start getting airport lounge access for your family asap! Even though the Capital One Venture X has a $395 annual fee, it comes with a $300 annual travel credit (when booking in the Capital One travel portal), $100 credit for TSA PreCheck/Global Entry, PLUS fantastic lounge access. It is definitely the card you want to have to elevate your airport experience!

Getting to spend 4 nights in New York City over Thanksgiving break was the perfect family get away. Is there any better way to get in the holiday spirit then spending a night at Radio City Music Hall with the phenomenal Rockettes!!?? We were able to use points for our Southwest flights to and from New York City, plus we used points for all 4 hotel nights! We saved over $5K doing this! šŸ—½And a quick NYC tip for youā€¦. Sit on the left side (window on left) of the plane for the best city views! Youā€™ll even see Lady Liberty welcoming you to her city!
